- To identify seriously motivated Medical Centres for the development of paediatric heart surgery where we find a combination of favourable medical, technical and political conditions.
- Carry out regular missions with a highly qualified team to operate children locally.
- To see to the theoretical and practical training of medical and nursing staff, together with the collaboration of the International Heart School of Bergamo, and all enterprises, institutions and organizations working towards a similar goal.
- To undertake, wherever needed, the organizational, structural and instrumental requirements in order to enable local centres to grow and become
independent
in due time. - To ensure a constant supply of aid and
collaboration for the chosen localitye.
