Since its creation, our association has already carried out more than 130 missions.

In every mission our team visited children, operated on their hearts, and looked after them during the postoperative period. The team’s members worked in cooperation with the local doctors, and tried to share their competence with them. The association’s team also took part in many operations performed by the local doctors and collaborated with them in treating the patients in the ward and in the intensive care unit. Some training meetings have been held that included discussions about clinical cases (already operated or to be operated) and lessons given by our team’s members.
In every occasion our association brought medical supplies useful for therapies and operations and/or equipment that were donated to the local hospital.
More specifically, in every mission were brought and given almost 4,000 euros’ worth of supplies useful for operations, medicines and equipment for the operating room (oxygenators, conduits, valves, infusion pumps, cannulas, operating supplies).
